The History

Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre has been the career launching pad for dozens of the familiar faces of television and film for 40 years. Before becoming a cast member on NBC’s ‘Saturday Night Live,’ David Spade was a “local comedian” at the Improv in Tempe, Arizona, hosting shows regularly. Bette Midler was a cocktail waitress at the Improv in New York, where she was given the opportunity to exhibit her vocal talents. Other Improv alumni include Lily Tomlin, Robin Williams, Jonathan Winters, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Drew Carey and the list goes on. Today, the Improv continues to showcase performers well on their way to join the ranks of the Improv’s famous veterans.

The Box Office will open 1 hour prior to the first showing of each evening and close 30 minutes after the last showing. 

Club Updates

At The Orlando Improv our number one priority is the safety of our staff and guests.  As we re-open with limited capacity, you will notice some changes throughout the venue.  Here are some of the steps we are taking to help you enjoy your next visit to our establishment.

What we are doing for your safety:

We will be limiting the number of the people inside the venue at any time.

Checking all guests' temperatures prior to entry. 

Our floor plan has been modified to allow greater space between seats and tables.

Our staff will be screened before each shift, their temperature will be checked, and they will be required to wear masks throughout their shift. If they are showing symptoms of Covid-19, we will ask them to go home until their symptoms subside.

A dedicated employee will be on hand at all hours to wipe down surfaces.

For the safety of all our guests, we recommend the following:

Please stay at home if you do not feel well or have shown any symptoms associated with the Covid-19 virus.

Please bring a mask with you to wear when not consuming food or beverages.

Please wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face.

Please provide distance between your party and other parties in the establishment.

Please be respectful and do not approach people outside your party.

We will continue to update our procedures based on new information to make sure we are doing our best to keep you safe while you enjoy your time at the Orlando Improv.

Seating & Entry Procedures

To allow for social distancing within our venue, we are now selling entire tables instead of individual tickets. When making your purchase, you will have the option of buying a table for 2 or a table for 4. To be sat together, your party must purchase tickets together as a table of either 2 or 4. 

All seating within the showroom will be assigned based on the time and order in which guests purchase tickets.

We will be taking each guest's temperature prior to entry. Any guest found to have a temperature exceeding 100.4 will be issued a refund and asked to return for another show in the future when they are feeling better.  

Masks are required to be worn at all times except while dining. If you are medically unable to wear a mask, you are required to wear a face shield. We sell both face masks and face shields at the venue, just in case you don't have one.

The use of masks should not be seen as a substitute for social distancing. Please keep at least 6 feet between yourself and others. 

Instead of having your ticket printed out, please have a digital copy of your ticket on your phone or tablet at the time of entry. 

The minimum age for admission is 21 (unless otherwise specified) and everyone in your party will need a valid photo ID to enter. 

You must present the credit/debit card used to purchase the tickets & a valid ID that matches the name on the ticket when checking in. Please be sure to have these items with you on the night of your event. 

If you purchased tickets online & are unable to print your tickets or access the ticket on a mobile device, present your ID and the credit/debit card used to the Box Office staff and they can print the tickets for you. 

Ticket Policies

If you are feeling sick or unwell, please give us a call ahead of time and we will assist you with a refund for your purchase.


Any guests found to have a temperature exceeding 100.4 prior to entering the showroom will be issued a refund and asked to return for another show in the future when they are feeling better.  

We can only issue refunds back to the original point of sale. If we are unable to issue your refund back to the original point of sale, your ticket purchase amount will be kept as a credit for any upcoming show of your choice. 

When purchasing tickets online, please make your selection very carefully. Tickets purchased for the incorrect day, time or section cannot be exchanged for a different show date, time or section. 

Please only hit the submit button once to avoid additional charges. 

There is a service charge on all tickets purchased online and day-of-show at the Box Office. You can avoid the service charge by purchasing your tickets at the Box Office (during operating hours) and at least 24 hours prior to the showtime.

All acts and show times are subject to change.  

Dining Information

Dinner is available to everyone immediately after you are seated at your table inside the showroom. Our friendly staff will be there to serve you throughout the show. You can view our full menu by clicking on the Menu tab at the top of the page to plan your order ahead of time.


There is an automatic 18% included gratuity added to every check inside the showroom.


Advanced ticketing and reservations are always recommended as our shows do fill up quickly. You cannot purchase or reserve tickets over the phone unless you have a promotional offer. 

You can purchase tickets here on our website and in-person at the Box Office during operating hours. We sell tickets at the Box Office in advance and on the night of the show if we have availability.

Phone reservations for promotional offers must be made at least 2 hours prior to the showtime and are always subject to availability.


Dress Code

At this time we are recommending that our guests wear masks at all times except while dining. 

Please do not wear anything that will block the view of other patrons. Also, as a comedy club, we take no responsibility if a comedian makes fun of your outfit! 

Parking & Directions

On-site parking is available in the Pointe Orlando garage. We offer a partial validation so that each guest will only pay $2.00 upon exiting the garage. Parking is validated by your server.

From I-4, please take the exit for Sandlake Rd. heading East to International Dr.  You will then turn South onto International Dr. and continue until you arrive 9101. Point Orlando and it’s adjacent parking garage will be on your left.

From the Beachline / 528, please take exit 1 for International Dr. Turn North towards the Convention Center and continue until you arrive at 9101. Pointe Orlando & it’s adjacent parking garage will be on your right.
